I have just watched some art night performances on facebook and...
...WOW!!!!
I'm so impressed. Marcus Lye is awesome. His voice control is unbelievable.
Seems like the choir has many pros.

seriously

Oh my gee. American Idol is getting SOOOOOOOOOO bad and boring.
The top 3 people from the first group aren't even that good. They are such a snooze fest. My alarm clock can snooze better.
It's so bad that I have to crawl out of bed at 2:00 am and type this.
After which I'll take a shower.
And then go back to bed again.
And by the way, I'm starting college.
Don is weird.

crap post
Ok. I don't have much to say, I just need to post something on my blog cos it's like a ghost town in here.
I still haven't succeeded in sleeping properly.
So my short-term plan:
1) Sleep 8 hours a day.
2) Finish homework 1 week ahead of time.
3) Save money to buy my first car.
And that's it.
And oh my God oh my God, Marcia Gross is getting so beautiful, she's so statue-esque. What should I do what should I do. She must be the most stunning woman on earth.
So seriously. I don't have anything else to say. But I promise a more exciting entry soon.

I kissed a girl
Well, this post is about the song "I kissed a girl" by Katy Perry.
HAHA. This post is no way about me. Whether I ever kissed a girl or not it will never end up on this blog.
I found this really nice and cute version on youtube:

my targets for 2009
1) Save money to buy a car.
2) Study. Seriously.
3) Read more. I'm getting stupid-er.
4) Exercise. So that I can fit in Topman and Club Monaco clothes.
5) Try not to get angry with my parents whenever they quarrel.
And I hope I can achieve all of that!

about a day off
New Year has started! Woo hoo!
On Monday, the store behind mine closed for CNY celebration (they are Vietnamese-Chinese), and my store was still open (my boss is Vietnamese American) so we were very crowded. It was tiring handling the heavy traffic but I had so much fun. The customers were so polite and patient. I had a nice day, even though I was so tired at the end.
I have an issue, something fresh and new and terrifying. I think it's too complicated. So, I decided on Monday night to take Tuesday off to rest and clear up my head. Well, I did rest but I still can't clear up my head. Without work, I think. And when I think, I reflect. The more I reflect, the messier it gets. So lesson learn: I should have worked to avoid thinking. Work makes me forget about my issues.
From now on, I'll try to work more, and exercise more, and keep me busy more, so that I won't have to deal with what I have been worried about. And I hope that by and by, my feelings will be gone so that I'll be back to a normal person.
Change of topic. "How I met your mother" is a cute show. It's not as funny as friends but it's smarter and more endearing. And my favorite character is Barney Stinson. Lily is also a really sweet character.
Oprah is in trouble. I think so. She looks positively unhealthy these days.
I hate HBO dramas. They are so boring.
And I'm *cough* downloading *cough* episode 5 of American Eye Doll. I hope this episode is not as boring as the last four.
And I cannot think of anything else to blog about. I am getting so boring!
=D

lalala
I nearly went ice-skating today. But I did not. Cos I was supposed to go with two guys, and I think I wouldn't have fun ice-skating with two guys. So I did not go.
Plus, I don't know how to ice-skate. I don't even know how to roller-blade.
And that's it for today. Oh by the way, San Francisco's American Idol audition is SOOOO Boring. Isn't there any talent in the Bay Area, California?
And by the way, I live in San Jose, CA which is in the Bay Area. It's a twenty-minute ride from San Francisco.
And that's all for today.

random things
1) Thailand is a damn artsy place. I swear. I came across a clip from a show at a university in Thailand and gosh, they are so good. And that's just a show from a university. Interesting. I want to visit that country before I die.
2) I also want to visit France and Italy before I die. Cos they have amazing buildings and I want to look at the buildings.
3) I also want to visit London. Just for the accent and to see TOPMAN clothes in action. (topman is a british line, just so you know, haha)
4) I'm sleeping late.
5) Oops, britney is getting boring.
6) Obama has a really huge responsibility.
7) I found some acjc 2008 carolling clips. They are good. Awesome. But my favorite song "Follow that star" sounds bad. I hope one day I can meet my acjc choir friends. I miss them like crazy. But I think I won't know what to talk about when I meet them.
8) I'm getting more independent in my own life. I'm dealing with things myself. It's kinda sad but it's safer this way.

Love
Oh my goodness. The 100th episode of Desperate Housewives is so so awesome.
There's no tornado, no guns, no special effects like other seasons. It's just a simple storytelling episode...
... about love. And that's made all the difference. This episode is so touching and beautiful.
My mom watched the part about Lynette and Susan's flashback, and she cried, even though she doesn't understand English and I had to translate on the spot for her.
It's an absolutely beautiful episode.

life is a picnic
hello! I just came across something and it made my day. It's something about my classmate in Singapore.
Ok. My friend has a blog. And it's funny.
There's a lot of things I want to say but I don't know how to start. I was placed in an amazing class, really. There were a lot of characters, and laughter. On the first day I talked to a guy in the class, thinking that he was here 3 months before me and maybe he knows about the class and such blah blah. But it turned out the class had like 5 guys if I am not wrong. None of them know one another. And the girls are mostly new too. So the chemistry was kinda weird. There were so many backgrounds.
As time goes by, I find my class highly entertaining. And most importantly, they make me feel like I exist. They make me feel like I'm part of them. And that's cool. And that means a lot. Argh, how do I convey my thoughts without being sentimental? Hmm. I hope you know what I mean.
It was really fun to hang out with my friends during recess. Although I didn't really talk, listening to you all talking made me laugh so much. Really. I remember time in the canteen, in the Cafe, the LT, the LT3, etc... It was fun.
And one of the friend who always makes the people around her laugh is the one I mentioned in the first part of this very post. She's a good friend. She's also cca friend. And even though I studied with her one whole year, I don't think I had the chance to get to know her. I am a bad friend, aren't I!
I was so indulged in my own problems that I forget about nearly everything else, my study, my friends, my roomate, my goals, my future... I was such a worthless thing in 2007. I am still mad at myself for being such a nonsense, a drippy, pessimistic, weak trainwreck back then.
I reflect a lot. I am that type. And all the things I did in 2007 were wrong. The person I was in 2007 was useless.
I just hope that I can fix 2007. And I hope I would get another chance to know my class. They are so nice to me I think. I am still very thankful for that.
I might be a different person now. I'm more sane. I think I am starting to piece my life together. I have a better outlook. I am a little more optimistic. And I hope I will be fine.
I suddenly hate anything that reminds me of my former self. The scars on my arms, my long fringe... I am not an emo anymore, I have just got rid of my fringe. My hair is short and neat now, even though I look so ugly in it. But that's fine, I have never been cute anyway. Haha! I hope the scars will be gone soon. It's still visible on my left arm. That's scary.
I write this post to tell my friends that I love them. Yes, I love you as a friend. Thank you so much for being a good friend. I also write this post to get some kind of closure. I have been reflecting about my year 2007 and I just need some closure.
And if I have caused you any problems during that year, I am so sorry. I really am.

American Idol
American Idol is back. WOOHOO. I love watching American Idol. The first episode is funny. Entertaining. The new judge is good and promising. She's kinda pretty I think.
On a different but quite related note, Vietnam Idol just crowned this guy. He has a decent voice, a decent personality and a decent look. But I am not crazy about this guy. He's quite ordinary, there's nothing so special about him.
He will represent Vietnam in Asian Idol 2009 and I hope he will do a good job. I hope he will at least sing English songs with a decent pronunciation.

update
I really want to blog but there's nothing much to blog about these days.
The good thing is my life has less drama now. But the bad thing is everyday is nearly the same as another, it's kinda boring. Anyway, I'm thankful to have a more peaceful life.
I have just bought a Dell computer for my parents. It's kinda kick-ass. All I have to do now is pay back for my credit card when the bank statement come.
My goals:
1) Save money to buy a car.
2) Record more songs.
And I hope I can achieve these two goals. It sounds easy but it's hard for me because I'm such a spendthrift.
Desperate Housewives is a really well-written show. I like it. It's funny.
I hope Josh Groban, Jason Mraz and Corrinne May will release new CDs soon.
...
And I'm out.

a new year

Let's start this year with this verse. And HAPPY NEW YEAR :D
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."

I want to see this, live!
This is probably one of the most awesome thing I've ever seen. By the way, I like the fountain at Raffles Shopping Center too, I think it's cute.
This is waterfall "Printer", a waterfall installation located in the Canal City Hakata shopping complex in Fukuoka, Japan. It can form intricate patters using water sprayed from hundreds of nozzles that are precisely controlled by computers. See for yourself. It's amazing.

back to blogging
Hello world!
First of all, Merry Christmas to you :D
I'm back. Ok, I've never gone anywhere but I just really don't know what to write down here. My recent blog entries are so boring and tasteless.
I feel like I'm becoming increasingly stupid. Either that or I don't care about politics, economics, the US economy crisis, finance, the 401k, the bailout, tax return, health care. Maybe both. Maybe I'm both indifferent to those issues and I'm becoming more stupid. Heh.
Anyway, I'm trying to keep myself 'smart' these days by reading Times, Details, GQ, Esquire, Wired, Entertainment Weekly, US Weekly, MacWorld, MacLife, and I've just subscribed to Vanity Fair. I used to subscribe to People magazine but I've stopped, I can get what they write in there for free, and that magazine is useless.
This year, my Christmas is weird. It doesn't suck, but it is definitely not fantastic. It's just like any other day to me. Anyway, there's something that makes me really happy, although only for a short time, but it's too personal to write down here.
I have planned for my studies. It's going to be easy, but it's going to be long. The good part is I can set my pace, and the not so good part is there are still many things to finalized. Anyway, it's quite fun to study again.
I think I used "anyway" too much. And my writing style is deteriorating. It lacks varieties and wordplay and structures.
Everyone has someone for Christmas. Not me.
And that concludes this post.
Again, merry merry christmas people :D
love, don =]

Lee Pace

I think Lee Pace is unbelievable.
I was shocked, surprised, intrigued, and totally awed by his acting. It's too good.

coughing

Hello world!
Nod here!
I'm down with coughing these few days!
And I'm going to work in a few hours, hope I can pull through that!
Please pray for me :D
I'm taking a cough syrup that's 3.5% alcoholic! Woohoo!
Anyway, I'm not an alcohol addict. But I really like the way my whole body warm up when alcohol enters me. It's like having fireworks in your spine.
Desperate Housewives Episode 10 of season 5 is so enjoyable. Good storyline, funny, touching, interesting, all the right factors of a good episode. The gay storyline is freaking funny.
However, the lesbian storyline in Grey's Anatomy is so awkward. I feel that they just anyhow squeeze in that theme in Greys to please the LGBT community without putting much thoughts to it. The whole thing is just so under-developed and annoying. Urgh.
And bad news, Pushing Daisies will be cancelled. I think whoever makes that decision is INCREDIBLY stupid. Like upside down, inside out, top to bottom, in-and-out STUPID. Pushing Daisies is a gem of a show, it's so unique and so beautiful and so so so so romantic. Why would they cancel that???
And I have nothing else to write about.
Goodness, I'm so boring.
